We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. As for the photo, it's so well done... I couldn't find a single thing wrong with it. The lighting and white balance is perfect.
I agree with you about capturing the emotion and the model was amazing on the photo shoot (I took over 100 pictures, it was so difficult trying to find my favorites). The model is feeling a bit better nowadays.
I've been kind of not so impressed by the colors in this picture.. I was trying to make it very natural but it's just a bit boring.. Or am I too used to fixing the colors to match my own taste? Don't know. I would actually rank this to scratch folder because of the colors.
